Sue Hughes-Smith, lecturer at RIT, will discuss A7497, the bill to require 100% clean energy by 2030. Barbara Grosh, member of LWV-RMA and Mothers Out Front, will discuss A7625, the bill relating to financial surety for major facilities, vessels, and railroads (Bakken oil). Melissa Peterson, member of Mothers Out Front, will discuss A8011, the bill to require divesting the State’s public pension funds from fossil fuel companies. Katherine Smith, member of the LWV-RMA will moderate this event.
