GLT’s Good To Go program can help set you on a more environmentally and economically sustainable path!
Good to Go is an ongoing community wide project of GLT—a NPR-member radio station and a service of Illinois State University (ISU)—and ISU’s Office of Sustainability. The project is designed to encourage healthy lifestyles and promote the use of alternative transportation instead of driving alone.
The initiative’s primary event is a Commuter Challenge, a friendly competition between individuals, teams and workplaces. During the third week of May participants track and report their commutes online.
Enid Cardinal, who helped launch the campaign, will discuss the challenges encountered and the startup of this unique program. Good to Go has evolved into something even bigger than initially envisioned because of the passionate leadership of the program.
