Seeking Large Planting Pots for Tree Project

ColorBrightonGreen is continuing to purchase and nurse trees for later planting in the community. We will be purchasing tree seedlings from the Monroe County Soil and Water Conservation District and are in need of large pots to nurse them along to a size that can be transplanted in the community at a later date. This avoids the problem of having the seedlings accidentally mowed down or eaten by deer. If you have any 2-3 gallon pots suitable to give a tree seedling room to grow, please email us at and we will make arrangements to get them from you.

Fundraiser: Trees For Brighton

Help ColorBrightonGreen plant trees in Brighton!

In 2018, ColorBrightonGreen, with the help of the Town of Brighton, Clean Sweep volunteers and members of the French Road Elementary school community, planted 12 trees at French Road Elementary and 7 trees at Buckland Park.

Our goal is to plant 20 more trees this year. By purchasing trees at discount prices, we can plant more trees for our money. Our cost is about $30 a tree. Our goal is to raise $1,000 to pay for this year’s trees and buy more for next year.
